Categories
Under the regulations of the Venezuelan Athletics Federation
(FVA), the following classifications of runners, in both male and
female categories, based on year of birth are accepted.

* Athletes in the youth category must be 18 years of age on the
day of the event.
** Registration and participation of disabled athletes is only
allowed in the Half Marathon and only for disabled in the
wheelchair category. To participate these athletes must be capable
of completing the distance of 21.097 meters in three (3) hours or
less. |

Awards
Marathon(42.195 meters) (*)
In addition to the cash prizes for the first five male and
female finishers in the general category for bothMarathonand the
Half Marathon, similar trophies or recognitions will be presented
to the three (3) finishers in each official category for both
distances. In addition cash prizes and trophies will be presented
to the first three (3) finishers - men and women - in the disabled
wheelchair category.

Prizes
Every participant in the Marathon (42.195 meters) and Half
Marathon (21.097 meters) will receive a medal on crossing the
finishing line. |
Trophies
In the case of runners enrolled in the Marathon, trophies or
similar awards will be presented to the first five (5) finalists in
the general classification, both masculine and feminine, and the
first three (3) in each official category.
Trophies or awards by category for the Marathon and Half
Marathon will be presented after the overall awards on the stage.
Runners who do not appear may collect their trophy from the
Hipereventos office (Calle Suapure, Qta. Ros, Office 6, Colinas de
Bello Monte, Caracas) from Tuesday February 26, 2013, and during
the subsequent 60 days (to April 26, 2013) based on the
classification shown on the website.
